My AM Fall-Winter Skincare Routine

I have been wanting for a while now to make a skincare routine post, but hey finally I did it  yayyy to me
Seriously you guys, lately as the days grow shorter, I'm having trouble to keep up with all the stuff I have, or I want to do. Like the older, I get the stronger autumn asthenia becomes. Does anyone feel the same?

Few words I want to say before I start: This is not a tutorial,
this is my personal skincare routine, and every product shown here is purely chosen for my own preference.
This routine, in this specific order, works wonders for my skin (that's why I made this post), but, I can't stress enough about this ...everyone skin is different so not everyone will necessarily benefit the same way nor does everyone need to have all these products.
That being said let's start with the routine

Step One: Cleansing
At the moment I'm using 3 cleansers. A micellar water to remove stubborn makeup and SPF. An oil and a cream cleanser.
I start my day with a non-foaming cream cleanser,
I squeeze a bit of it in the palm of my hand and massage it gently on to my dry skin. I remove it with a warm and damp terry cloth. That will clean my skin gently without stripping it
My favorites are.
Garnier Micellar water
Sukin Cream Cleanser
Sukin Super Greens Facial Cleansing Oil

Step Two: Toner/face mist
Fall Winter time is the perfect time to keep up with the acids.  I'm using Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 8% AHA Gel. I apply a lima bean size to my face and neck down to the cleavage line and (my personal preference) I wait for few minutes till it dries completely. I follow with Superoxide Dismutase Saccharide Mist from Niod, this is such a brilliant mist for dry aging skin. It keeps my skin plump and hydrated all day long.
This step will ensure the gentle skin exfoliation, leaving my skin fresh and ready to accept anything that follows while the mist, increase water density and prevents oxidative stress

Extra Step: Eye
My skin around the eyes is very dry and sensitive, so it does need extra care.
For the last month, I have been in love with Fractionated Eye-Contour Concentrate from Niod. I will come with a full review on this one but for now, all I can say is that minimized a bit the darkness under my eyes, but my fine lines are definitely reduced.

Step three: Serums
Since my routine includes quite a few product's I put them on my face starting with the ones more liquid and building
I begin with  4 drops of Matrixyl 10% + HA, I've been using this serum twice a day, in the AM and PM for a couple months now and the difference in my skin is fantastic. This soothes and hydrates my skin like nothing else  I'm currently on the second bottle of this.
I follow with few drops of  Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5. I have had visible results using this before my usual moisturizer all I can say  is that is just brilliant in its value and results

Step five: Oils and moisturizers
After tapping the hyaluronic acid on my skin ( face neck down to the cleavage line), I follow with my favorite oil .. 100% Cold-Pressed Virgin Marula Oil from The Ordinary. This stuff is so good, it saved my dry and sensitive skin and gave me back that healthy glow. I use about 4 drops of it, massage it gently. It is absorbed quite fast into the skin and doesn't leave behind any greasy residue.
After the oil is well absorbed in the skin I follow with Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturizing Serum Concentrate serum from Kiehl's; this one is a miracle worker,  It did increase in my skin’s moisture levels, skin seems plumper and therefore smoother since the fine lines are “fleshed” out with the increased hydration.  And as a bonus, it makes an excellent primer also.

Extra Step
Lately, I introduced and put to the test Sculpt lips cream from ESHO,  trying to enhance the looks of my lips volume and contour. I cant talk a lot about this one as in only using it for few weeks, but so far it has been just lovely ( it takes some getting used), and I can say I started to see some fullness on my lips, not lip injection kind but in a beautiful natural way.

Extra Step: Colors
If the day requires makeup, I go ahead with an SPF factor and follow with my makeup. If no I just add a pea amount of this BB Cream - Actively Correcting and Beautifying with SPF 50 PA+++ from Kiehl's.

And this is it.

This is my AM Fall Winter skincare routine. It does seem quite of a process if but in fact it only takes me like 5-6 minutes. To increase efficiency on it, I brush my teeth and comb my hair in the waiting to dry times.
I hope you guys enjoyed learning a little bit about my Am skincare routine, and IF you have any questions, please let me know in the comment section, I will be more than happy to help. Also if you want me to review in more detail one (or more ) specific products shown here also please let me know.

    1. Thank you! I'm currently on 3 weeks on the Fractionated Eye-Contour Concentrate from Niod, they promise full results on 8 weeks so I'm struggling a bit either I should do it earlier or not . I'm having good results so far

  5. I don't know why but whenever I see someone doing an extended skin care routine I feel less lonely hahah.
BTW, are Ordinary's products worth it? I've been wanting to try them for like forever (they are really inexpensive compared to the other K-skincare brands) but I'm afraid they would irritate my sensitive skin

YES , so far I had great results with the Ordinary, the trick is to read all the info about the product so you get the idea if is what you need or no. My skin is also pretty sensitive

  9. I always like posts like this where I'm able to catch a glimpse into the beauty routines of other women. Admittedly, I'm not much of a product girl. Instead, I (attempt) to keep my skin in good shape with monthly micro-derm treatments, lots of water, getting enough sleep, and a green smoothie every day. x

    1. Oh I love green smoothie's! or any other color for that matter, skincare without nutrition doesn't make much sense :) we must take care of ourselves inside out

    1. When talking about under eye darnkess is better if we know why we have that ! If the darkness around the eyes if is genetically you can only "cure "it with under eye fillers , also the hollowness in the eye contour as a result of structure of sub-dermal tissues like fat and bone can result in visible shadows under the eyes, and this also cant be fixed with creams or serums.

  12. I am just learning about Micellar waters, I will have to give it a try and add it to my routine. I have had freckles since I was a kid, and now because of my time spent in the sun I am getting age spots. Yikes. Thanks for the recommendations.

  14. I have a nighttime routine that consists of the basic stuff like washing the make up off and some good and mosturizing night creme! Your skin care routine is great especially on the eyes part!

  15. It's always great to have a good, solid skincare routine. My routines starts similar to yours except just not as many steps. I simply go with the facewash, toner, and then a moisturizer.

  16. That is such an extensive skin care routine that you have here. I would never have thought of the face misters and sprays. I really do need to do a better job of taking care of my skin though.

  26. For winter, I have to layer like 180 oils and hydrating cream/lotion/emulsion, and seal it all with a night pack. My skin really hates winter tbh.
